Who We Are
Boney Creek Development Ltd. serves as the economic development arm of the Laxgalts’ap Village Government, one of the four Nisga’a villages in the Nass River Valley of northwestern British Columbia. Our mission is to promote local, regional, and national opportunities that attract and retain business investment, create employment, and diversify the economy through strong industry partnerships.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to foster economic growth and prosperity within the Nisga’a Territory. We are dedicated to proactively pursuing project-based work on behalf of the Village of Laxgalts’ap and our partners. In doing so, we aim to create local job opportunities, contribute to sustainable development, and benefit the community, environment, and the interests of our stakeholders.
History & Values
Originally established as Ksi Ts’ip Development, our organization was born out of a desire to take an active role in shaping the future of Laxgalts’ap. As we grew, we became known as Boney Creek Development — a name that honors both our origins and our expanding impact.
